How to Obtain Your Continuing Education Units: ⇒ Athletic Trainers must have requested "BOC ATC” credits at the time of their online registration in order to be eligible to receive credits. Athletic Trainers who wish to receive BOC CEU’s must sign in daily at the registration desk. Complete the Evaluation Form (found in your delegate packet) and return it to the registration desk at the end of the meeting. Your "Certificate of Attendance" (which will be provided to you electronically via the IADMS Annual Meeting website within one month after the meeting) can be used to report your CEU activity. For Singaporean Sports Medicine and Sports Science Professionals
![]() | Sports Medicine Association Singapore (SMAS) is the professional body for sports medicine and sports science professionals in Singapore. It is the local organisation that represents and embodies the multi-disciplinary approach of Sports Medicine and brings together the wide-ranging expertise of sports medicine, sport orthopaedic, sports science, and sports therapy professionals in one integrated community. SMAS is one of the official Continuing Medical Education (CME) providers approved by the Singapore Medical Council to provide continuing medical education (CME) programmes. |
The IADMS Annual Meeting will be accredited with professional points by the Singapore Medical Council. Delegates will need to provide their MCR number during registration. In order to claim the appropriate professional points, delegates are required to sign in for the sessions that they attend. Delegates should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the education activity. Note: CME application is currently in progress.
The Singapore Medical Council (SMC), a statutory board under the Ministry of Health, maintains the Register of Medical Practitioners in Singapore, administers the compulsory continuing medical education (CME) programme and also governs and regulates the professional conduct and ethics of registered medical practitioners.
The International Association for Dance Medicine & Science (IADMS) and CME Outfitters, LLC require that the Activity Director, planning committee members and all activity faculty (that is, anyone in a position to control the content of the education activity) disclose to the activity participants all relevant financial relationships with commercial interests. Disclosure will be made to activity participants prior to the commencement of the activity. IADMS and CME Outfitters, LLC also require that faculty make clinical recommendations based on the best available scientific evidence and that faculty identify any discussion of the "off-label" or investigational use of pharmaceutical products or medical devices.
