14th Annual Meeting: October 14-17, 2004
San Francisco, California, USA

Location
San Francisco is a unique and breathtaking metropolis. From the famous icon of the Golden Gate Bridge to the exquisite art galleries at San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the City takes pride in its unrivaled attractions, renowned museums, and its unique neighborhoods which are treasures of its own. The conference will take place at the Holiday Inn on Van Ness Avenue, located in the heart of the city, just minutes from Union Square, Fisherman's Wharf and the Financial District. The Saint Francis Memorial Hospital, home of the world-renowned Center for Sports Medicine and Dancemedicine, is pleased to host this year's conference and welcomes you to San Francisco.

Climate and Clothing
Fall in San Francisco is truly the best time of year for weather. Days are warm and sunny, sometimes blisteringly so, and nights are mild and clear. Rainfall is rare, the fog has cleared and the long warming process has reached its zenith, making October one of the best months to visit San Francisco. Just to be on the safe side, do pack an umbrella and a light coat. The attire for the conference is casual. You may want to pack a heavy towel and/or a yoga mat for the movement sessions.

Please Note
San Francisco is a major tourist city with all of the usual benefits – and risks. It is always sensible to carry a photo identification card or passport with you in case of emergency.
