A TRAVEL VISA IS REQUIRED FOR ALL INTERNATIONAL TRAVELERS TO AUSTRALIA.
Visas can be arranged by your travel agent, your airline or on-line.  See  www.immi.gov.au for complete information.

The Electronic Travel Authority (ETA), a system for electronically issuing visas, is currently available through international travel agents and airlines in 29 countries including the US, UK, parts of Western Europe, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan. This system also includes pre-clearance for entry which reduces the time needed to process passengers on arrival. You can also obtain an ETA electronic visa on-line for A$20 – see www.eta.immi.gov.au for details.

For non-ETA countries, visas are issued from Australian Embassies and Consulates around the world at a cost of  A$60. In non-ETA countries, we recommend that you apply early for your visa.  Proof of conference registration will be provided to the relevant authorities by the Conference Managers on request.
You will not be permitted to enter Australia without a visa.
