The membership categories for the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science (IADMS) are listed in the table below.
New Members:
Membership is on a rolling 12 month basis beginning on the date your completed application is received in the IADMS office. Application processing time is approximately 8 weeks.
You will receive a reduced registration fee at the current year Annual Meeting if your completed application is received by August 1. If you become a new member via the on-line link below, please wait 4 days after your membership is processed before you attempt to register on-line for the conference. This will allow the system to apply your discounts.
Only completed applications will be considered. Students and medical residents/registrars (category D) must send proof of their full-time status or training status via mail, email or fax - your application cannot be processed until this is received.
If it is determined that you do not meet the requirements for the membership category requested, you will be billed for any difference in fees. Membership dues are not refundable.
Renewals:
Membership renewals are for a rolling 12 month period. Renewals received before or within 30 days of your previous membership expiration date will be credited to a consecutive 12 month period and your "Member Since" date used to calculate your membership tenure and related benefits will be preserved at its previous setting. Membership dues are not refundable.
If you have been an IADMS member in the past, and your membership application is received more than 30 days after your previous membership expiration date, your 12 month membership cycle and your "Member Since" date used to calculate your membership tenure will both be reset. This will effect your tenure related benefits and the continuity of your Journal of Dance Medicine & Science subscription.

*If you have been a member of IADMS at any time in the past and your membership has expired, you must first login to the IADMS web site. This will locate your past membership file. Instructions for recovering your user name and/or password, if necessary, are available on the login page. Once you have logged in, proceed to the Dues Renewal page to pay your membership dues. You will get IMMEDIATE on-line access to the entire IADMS web site.
