Membership in IADMS is open to any individual who is actively connected with the healthcare, education, administration, and supervision of dancers and/or is a member of the dance community.

Membership is on a rolling 12 month basis beginning on the date your completed application is received in the IADMS office. You will receive a reduced registration fee at the current year Annual Meeting if your completed application is received by September 15. Application processing time is approximately 8 weeks.

Only completed applications will be considered.  Students must send proof of their full-time status via mail or fax - your application cannot be processed until this is received.  Membership dues are not refundable.  If it is determined that you do not meet the requirements for the membership category requested, you will be billed for any difference in fees. If you have been an IADMS member in the past, and your new membership application is received more than 30 days after your previous membership expiration date, your 12 month membership cycle and your "Member Since" date used to calculate your membership tenure will both be reset. This will effect your tenure related benefits such as the level of your fee discount for the Annual Meeting and the continuity of your Journal of Dance Medicine & Science subscription. Membership dues are not refundable.
