There is a reduced registration fee for current IADMS members. You may check your membership status via the  Manage Profile » Membership web page (login required).

TO RECEIVE THE MEMBERS' DISCOUNTED REGISTRATION FEE, YOUR IADMS MEMBERSHIP DUES MUST BE PAID BY JUNE 15, 2014. Membership applications or renewals received after this date will not qualify for a reduced registration fee.

It is also important that you check the EXPIRATION date of your membership. If your membership is expiring prior to October 19, 2014, you will not be able to register as a current IADMS member.

As a presenter, you will receive a 25% reduction off the regular registration fee. This discount applies only to the three day Annual Meeting fee, not to the Special Interest Groups Day fee. Student presenters who receive the Student Research Award or a Student Researcher Travel Grant and who register by the August 15, 2014 deadline may register for free.

TO RECEIVE THE PRESENTER DISCOUNT YOU MUST REGISTER BY AUGUST 15, 2014. Presenter discounts will not be available after this date.

If you register after August 15, 2014, you must pay the full registration fee plus any applicable late fees. If you must cancel your presentation due to extenuating circumstances, please notify the IADMS Program Committee as early as possible (see Cancellation).

Submitting Presentation Abstracts for:
Abstracts from the 23rd Annual Meeting of IADMS

DEADLINE: JUNE 15, 2014 Submit to:
All authors scheduled to make presentations at the 2014 Annual Meeting must re-submit their abstracts for inclusion in the book Abstracts from the 24th Annual Meeting of IADMS. The abstract book will be distributed to all delegates and will be made available for purchase on the IADMS website following the conference.

You may update your abstract to update data or analyses or clarify text before re-submitting it, but please adhere to the abstract guidelines. Do not re-submit your original abstract file.


  • Include all authors’ names, credentials, and affiliations between the abstract title and the text
  • One continuous paragraph (no section headings; i.e., no "Methods," "Results," etc.)
  • No more than 350 words
  • No more than one appended table or figure
  • No more than 10 citations (please follow the style instructions, Preparing Your References)
  • Single spaced using 12-point Times New Roman font
  • One inch margins on all sides
  • Microsoft Word file (*.doc, not *.docx)

An abstract should be a synopsis of the presentation, including information relevant to its methods, materials, results, and conclusions. Abstracts in outline form or consisting primarily of bullet points will not be accepted.

To have your abstract included in Abstracts from the 2014 Annual Meeting, you must re-submit your abstract no later than June 15, 2014 to:

Required Agreements and Forms

As a presenter, you are required to complete four (4) agreements / forms. These forms are accessible online via the IADMS Annual Registration Meeting website. You must attest to the forms online, which will affix your 'electronic signature.'

  1. Abstract Release Agreement
    DEADLINE: JUNE 15, 2014
  2. Release Agreement For Audio-Visual Recording
    DEADLINE: JUNE 15, 2014
  3. Disclosure / Conflict of Interest Form
    DEADLINE: JUNE 15, 2014
  4. IADMS Solo, Group, or Poster Presenter Agreement
    DEADLINE: JUNE 15, 2014

To complete and submit the above forms and agreements by the June 15, 2014 deadline, presenters should proceed through the following steps:

1. Go to the "My Status" page on the IADMS Annual Meeting Registration website: Click here.

2. Login using the instructions provided on that page:

a. For IADMS members (past or present) you will need to use your user name and password that you use to log in to the IADMS website. If you have forgotten your user name and/or password, go to the log in page and follow the instructions.

b. For non-members, you will need to use your first and last name.

3. Expand the agreement and forms section of the status page by clicking on "Agreements / Forms”.

4. Click "Abstract Release Agreement”, review the agreement, then check the "Yes, I Agree" box, and then click "Save.”

5. Repeat the same process for all the agreements that are listed.

Any questions regarding the presenter forms should be directed to the IADMS Annual Meeting Producer.


June 15, 2014:
  • Join IADMS or renew IADMS membership
    Membership dues must be paid or renewed by this date in order to receive the IADMS member discount when registering for the Annual Meeting
  • Submit your abstract for "Abstract Book"

  • Complete "Release Agreement For Audio-Visual Recording"
    (see instructions above to submit online)
  • Complete "IADMS Disclosure/Conflict of Interest Form"
    (see instructions above to submit online)

  • Complete "IADMS Solo and/or Group Presenter Agreement"
    (see instructions above to submit online)

If you cannot present at the conference, please notify IADMS immediately via letter or e-mail so that a substitute presentation may be arranged for your time slot.
