Your Board wants to offer reassurance that we are actively monitoring the situation in Japan relating to the COVID-19 virus. We are consulting experts in the field, and weighing contingency options should the need arise. The Board is discussing this matter daily, and we will offer regular updates in the months ahead. We thank you for your patience and flexibility. As always, please review your travel insurance at the time of booking any flights or accommodations.

Rest assured we are going to have an amazing conference in 2020 and we look forward to seeing you all there!

The International Association for Dance Medicine & Science (IADMS) welcomes presentation submissions for our 30th Annual Conference and Special Interest Days. We are looking for groundbreaking research and ideas in the field of dance medicine, research, and education.

IADMS enhances health, well-being, training, and performance in dance by cultivating medical, scientific, and educational excellence. Be a part of the 30th Annual Conference by submitting an abstract and you may have the opportunity to present at our conference with esteemed colleagues and other industry professionals from around the globe.

Several presentation formats are available: Poster Presentation; Lecture Presentation (10 or 20 minutes); Allegro Presentation; Interactive Forum; Practical Interactive Workshop; Movement Session. View Annual Conference Abstract Submission and Presentation Guidelines, below, for more information on these formats and time allocations.

[UPDATED] Proposals must be submitted via our online abstract submission system and must be completed by March 1 March 12, 2020, 11:59:59 PM SST (UTC -11).

For each abstract you submit, you must be both the first/primary author and the first/lead presenter.

A person may be the presenting author on only two abstracts. The Program Committee will not review additional submissions or consider them for inclusion in the scientific program. A person may be a secondary author on an unlimited number of abstracts.
